Brownberrie Lane Preschool is looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our busy and happy team in Horsforth. Ideal candidates will have experience working with young children and be either qualified or working towards level 3 in Early Years age range. Brownberrie Lane is a registered charity committed to providing an excellent standard of childcare to local children aged 2-5yrs. Candidates should have an interest in developing and maintaining a safe, secure and fun environment for our children and show a keen interest in supporting their development, care and learning needs. You will be able to plan appropriate learning activities to assess and observe how the children learn and develop. You should also be comfortable recording your observations as part of our online learning journals for parents. The position covers Monday 8.30 – 3.15, Tuesday – Friday 8.30 – 1.30 Starting in September, term time only but there will be opportunities for additional hours in the holidays. Sessions will still be available 9am-3pm, but for those that require extra hours we will run sessions from 8am until 5.45 which will be supported by our existing staff team.
