Would you like to work for a small charity, serving the local community by providing excellent childcare? Do you want to make a positive difference to the lives of young children, helping them grow and develop in a nurturing and playful environment?

We are looking for Early Years Practitioners who have experience of working with young children in a child care setting; ideally you will be qualified or currently working towards level 3 in Early Years age range. Candidates who are unqualified but prepared to commit to taking a level 3 qualification will be considered.

Candidates should have an interest in developing and maintaining a safe, secure and fun environment for our children and show a keen interest in supporting their development, care and learning needs.

You will be able to plan appropriate learning activities to assess and observe how the children learn and develop. You should also be comfortable recording your observations as part of our online learning journals for parents.

A good communicator is required to be able to converse effectively with children, staff, parents and visitors. We require a person who can use their own initiative and problem solve and deal with the daily challenges of working in a very busy pre-school environment.

We offer a vibrant, stimulating environment for children, focusing on each child’s individual development to help them grow and learn in the happiest and most natural way possible.

The positions cover 37.5 hours a week in term-time between 7.45am and 6.15pm with reduced hours throughout the school holidays. These are not term-time only positions. Candidates should be willing to register or already registered on the DBS update service.
